Who we are

We are the Northern Sonoma County Community Emergency Response Team (NoSoCoCERT), a non-profit organization operating in partnership with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and part of a network of similar CERT programs across the USA.

Who we share your data with

If you sign up for training or another type of event, the data you enter will be stored in our database and may be viewed by a member of our organization or the presenter of the event you signed up for. We may access this information if we or the event presenter(s) need to contact you or send you training or event materials.

We may also collect data about users of this site for statistical purposes without including any personally-identifiable information, with the exception of IP address and geographical location, so that we can aggregate that information for general planning and marketing purposes.

Where we send your data

We may send your data to the trainer or presenter of an event you have registered for.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

We do not currently archive or delete data based on any set time period, although in the future we may develop a plan for archiving old, inactive records. We store the personal information that users provide when they register on our website in their user profiles. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except for their username, which can only be deleted along with their entire account). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Comments

This site does not currently allow comments, so no comment-related data is collected.

Media

This site does not currently allow users to upload images or recordings to the website. If you provide us with images or recordings for us to upload for you for public viewing, they may be shared with anyone who visits the website. You may request that we remove any media that belongs to you, and we will do so within a timeframe reasonable for our staffing and workload.
