CERT Basic Training in Cloverdale in Spanish and English

Event Description

CERT Basic Training Registration

1. Complete either the Teen or Adult Registration paper form and scan (photo) or mail it back to CERT.  If you need a copy of the form contact Julie@NoSoCoCERT.org.
2. Register for the University of Utah CERT Hybrid Online Training Course (Register (free) and remember your password so you can save your work and not start over again.

3. When you complete this 12-hour course, keep a copy of the Certificate of Completion and scan (photo), or mail it back to CERT. You must complete this course in order to do the in-person (hands-on) training.
4. Register for a FEMA Student ID (https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid) and write down your password and the Student ID number since you will need it to get credit for FEMA Independent Study courses below.
5. Provide to CERT the following information for your ID badge and for OneCallNow to send you emergency alerts:
   * Your Name as you would like it to appear on your ID badge
   * A head and neck only closeup photo for your ID badge
   * The Name and one phone number for your Emergency Contact
   * Any e-mails you would like alerts sent to
   * Any phone numbers you would like alerts sent to
   * Any cell phones you would like text messages sent to
6. Go to the Emergency Management Institute (EMI) Independent Study Course List

7. In the search box type the IS number of the course you wish to review (e.g., IS-317.a)
